French piece from the second half of the 19th century Oval silver 800‰ mourning medallion pendant, entirely enamelled in black and centered with a fleur-de-lis motif accented with half-pearls; the bail is hand-engraved to match. Equipped with a hinge, it opens to reveal a glass panel. Rhomboidal workshop hallmark. Dimensions: 3.9 x 2.7 cm. Gross weight: 16.7 g. (Damage and chips in the enamel; broken suspension ring; oxidation).
