Probably 18th century Blood jasper box with molded ribs, the silver and vermeil 800‰ mounting, the lid pricked with a yellow gold 750‰ plate adorned with Chinese figures, the pusher drawing floral and foliate motifs set with rose-cut diamonds, rubies, emeralds and faceted sapphires mounted on gold and silver. Dimensions: 2.4x5.3x7.3cm. Gross weight: 74.7g. (Accidental jasper restoration, mounting accident, missing gilding, chips and flakes).
