French work from the late 19th century 750‰ yellow gold pocket watch, round case (26 mm) chased with leaf motifs, white enamel dial, Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals in fives, and a gold railway-track minute scale, mechanical hand-wound movement, textured 750‰ yellow gold base plate, back decorated with enamel depicting the profile of a woman in Renaissance style, her headdress adorned with three rose-cut diamonds. Horse-head hallmark, Departments, 1838–1919 (Besançon variant). Gross weight: 17.1 g. (No guarantee of functionality; servicing recommended; enamel damage and restoration).
