[Engravings]. [Germany]. Souvenirs of Germany 1874, part 2 from Prague to Aachen (title on upper cover). S.l., (ca. 1874). Oblong folio album. Green half-chagrin, romantic spine (binding slightly rubbed, spine faded, foxing on qq. plates). Factitious collection of over 100 views on 73 leaves, including 4 copper engravings by L. Schütze, Hammer and Richter, and 69 lithographs by Sandmann, Payne, Christoph Kummet, R. Bürger, C. W. Arldt, Ch. Gille, etc. Most of the engravings are mounted on sheets measuring 30 x 41 cm. The set illustrates views of cities between Prague and Aachen, including Carlsbad, Teplice, Pirna, Schandau, Königstein Fortress, Dresden, Berlin, Potsdam, Hamburg, Lake Alster, Bremen, Münster and Düsseldorf. It also includes two colored lithographs depicting peasants around Hamburg.
