HONDA CB 125 S K0 1973 - Lot 185
HONDA CB 125 S K0 1973 Chassis n°1021031 French registration Very nice condition Over 1,200 euros in maintenance costs Sold without CT Appraisal report available This CB 125 S entered our enthusiast's collection some fifteen years ago, and has been carefully maintained ever since. Accessible without a motorcycle license but with a simple training course, it's the perfect small-displacement entry into the world of vintage motorcycles. Note the accessory exhaust system. At the time of its release, it was presented as a clean and economical motorcycle, thanks to its four-stroke engine. As well as being reassuring, it saved time - and fun! While Honda is best known for its technically advanced motorcycles and mopeds, we mustn't forget that this manufacturer has always been committed to producing more rustically-designed yet high-performance machines. In this category, we include the small 90 cm3 which, in the 60s, contributed in no small measure to the brand's reputation in France. When this model disappeared, Honda gave it a descendant in the form of the CB100 which, at the request of HONDA France, became the CB125 for obvious reasons of national legislation. The CB125S was unveiled to the public at the 1970 Paris Motorcycle Show, and was a great success. Its low price (2390 f) at the time was obviously a contributing factor. It went on sale in January 1971, under number 1003372. This model was marketed in two colors only until 1973, in red and dark green, with a white lower tank for France. Addendum: Following a fall, the owner didn't have time to restart the bike, so it's up to the buyer to do the restarting.
