1957 Lambretta Type 125 LD56 - Lot 177
1957 Lambretta Type 125 LD56 Chassis n°110466 Old quality restoration French registration Sold without CT Acquired some ten years ago by its owner, this pretty Lambretta benefited at the time from special care by a mechanic more accustomed to pre-war Bugatti and Delage than to the little Italian scooter of the 60s! All that's left to do is plan a trip to Italy! Born of Ferdinando Innocenti's desire to democratize transport in post-war Italy, the Lambretta owes its name to the Lambrate factory in Milan. Originally specializing in industrial tubes, the company took advantage of the economic boom to launch its first scooter, the Model A, in 1947. Manufactured in Troyes for the French market, the Lambretta 125LD bears witness to a time when Innocenti was competing with Piaggio's Vespa.
