Ratchet clasp and safety hook. Signed "Cartier Paris" and numbered "113631". French work, diamond hallmark of Atelier Jean-Thierry BONDT. Length: 35.5cm. Dimensions of central motif: 1.9x1.5cm. Mesh width: 0.8cm. P. Gross weight: 75.6g. (One diamond missing, slight crazing and chipping). Active from the end of the 1940s, the Atelier Jean Thierry BONDT worked for numerous jewelry houses, including Cartier, Lacloche, Sterlé and Van Cleef & Arpels, establishing itself through the high quality of its designs. Bondt forged even stronger links with Boucheron.
