Maison Buccellati is renowned for its jewelry work, but above all for its goldsmithing. These objects are representative of his favorite subject from the outset. Throughout the work of her workshops, the inspiration of the animal and plant world holds a primordial place for both Mario Buccellatti and his son Gianmaria. The table decorations in the "Furry" collection, still on sale in their stores today, feature a varied bestiary: birds of all kinds, forest animals (fox, squirrel, deer, wild boar) or more exotic animals (such as panda, monkey, giraffe, felines, etc.).
In these impressive "sculptures", measuring from a few centimetres to 70cm in height, the accumulation of silver threads gives a realistic, naturalistic fur look.
