Hidden toggle clasp concealed within a link. Signed “Pomellato”. Made in Italy (Workshop 469 MI). Length: 19 cm. Link width: 1.4 cm. Gross weight: 107.3 g. (Bracelet extended with a smooth link; minor solder marks, scuffs, and scratches on the rubies). POMELLATO is part of the tradition of the great Italian chainmakers. Founded in 1967, the House seeks to reinterpret this heritage, particularly through the use of the curb chain, which has become one of its iconic signatures. Designed for everyday wear, its creations are distinguished by their fluidity, offering a supple movement and comfort suited to daily life. This quality is rooted in the artisanal excellence championed by the House, which collaborates with traditional Milanese workshops that uphold exacting craftsmanship. POMELLATO jewelry is also characterized by the emphasis placed on color and volume, in a joyful and free-spirited style, a legacy of the Italian Dolce Vita. This identity is particularly reflected in the bold use of gemstones: the House employs decorative stones such as turquoise and jade, which were still underappreciated in traditional jewelry at the time. Through this contemporary and innovative aesthetic, POMELLATO quickly achieved success by keeping pace with the evolving lifestyles of Milanese society in the 1960s and 1970s.
