Work from 1910-1920 Delicate openwork head ornament in 750‰ white gold and 850‰ platinum composed of three lines of falling old-cut diamonds, finished with 16/16, 8/8 and rose-cut diamonds. Mounted on two black velvet ribbons. Transformations. Dimensions: 11.5x1cm. P. Gross: 16.9 g. (A few small chips). This delicate head ornament is distinguished by its multiple wearings, as a tiara with a high bun or as a barrette to emphasize a low bun. The elegant sobriety of its design makes this early twentieth-century jewel timeless.
