French piece from the 1910s - Lot 39
French piece from the 1910s Delicate 950‰ platinum band ring featuring a central oval cabochon sapphire flanked by calibrated sapphires, with rows of old-cut diamonds in a bezel setting around the stone and a beaded bezel setting on the shank. Numbered “3389”. Diamond-shaped hallmark of the Henri KAUFMANN workshop. Ring size: 51. Width: 0.8 cm. Gross weight: 3.1 g. (A few small scratches, slight distortions on the band). The delicacy of this ring from the 1910s recalls the designs created by Cartier during this transitional period between the Belle Époque and the early Art Deco era.
