Work from the second half of the 19th century Yellow gold 750‰ tie pin with circular motif centered on a round cabochon star sapphire, in a radiant surround of old-cut and crowned rose-cut diamonds mounted in closed setting. The main motif is adorned on the reverse with a lock of hair under glass. Diameter of motif: 1.7cm. Length: 8.5cm. P. Gross weight: 7.9g. (Small chips to the sapphire, slight oxidation).
