[FLEURY. PASCAL] - Lot 64
[FLEURY. PASCAL] [Handwritten and painted plans of sections and elevations]. S.l.n.d. (ca. 1880-1900). In sheets, mixed techniques (pencil, brown ink and wash, watercolor) on heavy paper mounted on a support or surrounded by a gilded paper bias, probably decadined, all presented in blue canson marie-louise and cardboard support (soiling on versos, some spotting, soiling and staining on drawings, very slight light lateral dampening without gravity). Set of 4 large architectural drawings in color, by the same hand, two of which are signed (or validated) H. Fleury / At. Pascal. Probable design for a large public building in France, such as a courthouse, town hall or assembly, during the Third Republic. The absence of ink stamps, various mentions or stamps would suggest a rejected independent work or an unsuccessful proposal from a firm. Three interior views, salons, large assembly room, with painted ceilings and sculptures, a setting with figures and a large view of the exterior facade set in a landscape. -Interior view. Cross-section of the assembly room (37 x 53.4 cm) with painted vaults and gallery, painted RF in the center. Signed H. Fleury and At. Pascal lower right. -Interior view. Cross-section of previous room (35.4 x 37 cm). Signed H. Fleury and At. Pascal lower right. Lateral tear restored over a few cm. -Interior view. Cross-section of an ornate salon with painted ceilings and sculptures (27.5 x 35 cm). Unsigned. -Exterior view. Elevation of the building facade with natural decor and setting with figures (26.5 x 52 cm), very finely drawn. Unsigned.
