Large in-4, [8]-114 pp. on azure laid paper, fine margins. Contemporary marbled fawn half-basane, smooth spine decorated with gilt fillets, red title page, gilt title, marbled edges (headbands torn, small wormhole at foot of spine, light scattered foxing). First and only published edition of this important Persian grammar. The author was an official Arabic interpreter for the Austrian Empire. Stamp of the École Sainte-Geneviève with the title.
