Sheet (67 x 105 cm). Large etched view (48.6 x 76 cm at the basin) in black (two restored marginal tears, one of which reaches very slightly into the etching, but a good copy).
Fine etching of Hippodrome Square in Constantinople by Antoine Ignace Melling (1763-1831). Etched by Jean Duplessi-Bertaux (1750-1890), and finished by F.-D. Nʹee in 1812.
Rare copy avant la lettre.
