China, 19th century A pair of powder-blue enameled porcelain ginger jars with gold decoration of a pair of pheasants and butterflies among peonies and pomegranates. The heel and base of the neck adorned with ruyis and palmettes. Height: 23 cm. Minor wear to decoration, missing lids and cracked neck on one.
