LIMOGES - Lot 47
LIMOGES Pair of black enameled copper candlesticks with white and gold decoration of foliage, human profiles and mythological characters, the baluster shaft, the hexagonal base decorated with four polychrome medallions representing Cephalus, Adonis and Dawn, and a coat of arms. Partly early 18th century, in the taste of Jacques II Laudin. Height: 20 cm The baluster is later, with major restorations and re-enameled parts.
