Chest composed of beveled agate plates set in a silver diamond-shaped mesh, the lid edged with a frieze of foliate scrolls. Probably German work, 17th/17th century, Bohemia (?). No hallmark. Gross weight: 375 g Height 7.2 cm Width 14 cm Depth 10 cm Damage. Note: a similar box is in the collections of the Rosenborg Museum in Copenhagen (inv 9-6).
