Small necessary box in brass guilloché in the imitation of basketwork and decorated in relief with engraved silver motifs such as flowers, foliage, birds, flowering vases and baskets, butterflies, basket of flowers, musical instruments and sheet music in Rocaille surrounds. It stands on four leaf-shaped feet. The lid with movable handle reveals a mirror. It is decorated with numerous instruments: thimble, scissors, dance card, flasks, brush, etc. Germany (?), mid 18th century. Gross weight: 386 g Length: 7.5 cm
