Gold, silver, vermeil, enamel, hardstone and bronze paperweight forming a table vinaigrette. The sides, decorated with agate, lapis lazuli and aventurine quatrefoils between two bands of malachite, are adorned with acanthus leaves at the corners. The doucine upper part, decorated with a frieze of palm leaves and ovals, is topped by a gold vinaigrette, the lid of which is formed by an enameled cushion, the handle in the shape of a reclining greyhound. 1819-1838 Goldsmith: Jean Baptiste FOSSIN, registered in 1825.
