TRIUMPH - Lot 2
TRIUMPH Triumph, T120 Bonneville, 1969 Chassis n°HC23547 Engine no.HC23547 Carte grise française The Bonneville, also known as the "Bonnie", is perhaps the best-known British motorcycle in the world. Its legend was born on the salt desert of Bonneville, Utah, on September 6, 1956, when Johnny Allen reached 342 km/h on a machine powered by a 650 cm3 engine from a Triumph Tiger 110. Building on this achievement, Triumph introduced the T120 Bonneville (T120 for 120 mph) in 1959. It would remain in the Triumph catalog until 2019, proof of its legend. We know that our Triumph spent the first part of its life in Isère, before moving to Vaucluse. The model we're presenting is an interesting project (blank assembly) begun, but never completed, of a "special" Bonneville. A great opportunity to build the bike of your dreams, with a few sleepless nights in the workshop.
