MORINI Moto Morini, 175 Settebello, circa 1961Chassîs n°G*43 - Lot 1
MORINI Moto Morini, 175 Settebello, circa 1961Chassîs n°G*43604-GM1070-OMMotor n°B43604A immatriculate en carte grise de collection. The Moto Morini brand was created by Alfonso Morini. He dedicated his entire life to motorcycle manufacturing, with a marked preference for racing bikes. His talent as an engine builder led the brand to success in a number of European competitions. Like the majority of 175 Settebello models, our example most probably had a sporting career, either in France or Italy - brand historians beware! It has been fully restored by specialist Max Coueille in Auch. As a restorer and tuner of vintage motorcycles, he knew how to push the limits of an engine, as in the case of Colonel Olivier Bourdil's Aermacchi 125, which won the Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or in Monthléry in the 80s, with a top speed of almost 240km/h. So here's an authentic racing Morini, restored by a great tuner, what more could you ask for? The engine is brand-new and will need to be run in before it can be used to its full potential on the racetrack. It comes with all its racing accessories: saddle, tank, lap counter, pot, racing carburetor, brakes and Aermacchi tubes and sleeves. A must for budding racers.
