French work of the 1920s Tapered brooch in 750‰ white gold and 950‰ platinum centered with a large oval cabochon blue opal mounted in a beaded closed setting, the setting openworked with geometric decoration enhanced with lines of rose-cut diamonds. Pin in 750‰ white gold. Diamond hallmark of the Atelier Ernest GUERIN. Opal dimensions: approx. 18.2x21.9x5.8mm. Brooch size: 1.9x5cm. P. Gross weight: 10.4 g. (Chips, cracks in the opal).
