BROCK & Co, Years 1930-1940 Important lapel clip brooch in 950‰ platinum and 750‰ white gold with scrolls and tiers enhanced with 8/8, 16/16 and half-cut diamonds, the design centered by a line of faceted oval sapphires in drop set in claw setting. System in 750‰ white gold. Signed "BROCK & Co FROM FRANCE" and numbered at the point "31-182". French work, export hallmarks by Atelier VERGER Frères. Dimensions: 3.5x2.3cm. P. Gross weight: 27.8g. (Very fine chips). The Atelier VERGER Frères was very early on - and throughout the 20th century - a key workshop for many jewellery houses on Place Vendôme, including Boucheron, Cartier, Mauboussin, Van Cleef & Arpels, but also for American houses such as Brock & Co.
