Work of the 1940s White and yellow gold 750‰ Retro pendant brooch centered on a carved and reperced jade plaque with bird motif in stylized foliate decoration, the surround with bridge and step motifs partially enhanced with old and half-cut diamonds, one larger. Removable pin in yellow gold 750‰, the bélière opening. Dimensions: 5.9x4.7cm. P. Gross: 28.7g. Plates of carved and reperced jade mounted as jewelry can be found, in the 1930s-1940s, in creations by the Maisons Cartier, Fouquet or Templier.
