(including 4 blank pages), text of 17 lines in two columns on most pages, black and red ink on laid paper, small red crosses, presence of advertisements. 89-leaf MANUSCRIT in Syriac, followed by ... bilingual leaves containing extracts from St. Paul's letters, which may indicate that this is a prayer book intended for liturgical use in the Church. Provenance handwritten on recto of first leaf: "Germanos/ la Grace de dieu/ Archevêque d'Alep / Cachet noir / Ce livre a ete arreté etrenelemment pour l'Eglise Marie-Elias, Eglise des Maronite à la ville Alep /... / An / 1732."
