Reddish-brown basane on cold-decorated wooden boards, smooth spine decorated with fleurons and fillets, upper board decorated with a traditional ornament. decorated with a traditional ornament called basmy border, fillet and fleurons, 5 bolts on the lower board, "Tchoudovskaïa" type decoration, formed of crossed diagonals dividing the boards into four complete lozenges and eight half-lozenges, framed in basmy roulette, clasps, (flaws including detached upper board, rubbing and epidermis; foxing, soiling and stains, unruly quires). Sung octoecque (Октоих певческий / Осьмогласник), manuscript in neumatic notation (крюковая нотация). This manuscript copy, with its style of ornamentation, is reminiscent of Gouslitskian songbooks, renowned for their rich decoration and careful writing.
