Photos in black, photomontages in black and red. Extremely rare. 3 copies at CCFr. The Red Poster, "Des libérateurs? Liberation! Par l'armée du crime" ("Liberators? Liberation! By the Army of Crime"), was produced between late 1942 and February 1943 by the German propaganda services in France, and posted in Paris and other French cities at the time of the trial or the day after the execution of the Manoukian group (February 22). Less well known: it was accompanied by leaflets also printed in black and red, featuring violent images and propaganda lexicon, of which few traces remain. These documents constituted a large-scale operation against the Resistance.
