EMPIRE. DECORATIVE ARTS. MOA. FURNITURE. [COLLECTION OF 18 PRINTS]. [In oblong folio (ca. 29 cm x 40 cm). Contemporary half morocco with corners, spine ribbed, gilt edges. Rare engravings of furniture and objets d'art offering a panorama of neoclassicism in the early 19th century. Composite album of 18 fine etchings, line-engraved and watercolored at the time, illustrating Empire-style decor and furniture. Of various origins, formats vary slightly. Some plates bear the Bureau's signature at Basset's address on rue St. Jacques in Paris and at Tessari et Cie in Augsburg. Some scattered foxing, binding rubbed and slightly tired at the jaws.
