Copy enriched with 2 autograph pieces signed by the author: - A LAS dated May 14 [18]91 in which he asks if his addressee has saved a place for him in his program when he passed through the Porte St. Martin.... [in-12, Figaro letterhead]. - A signed autograph telegram to Emile Rochard, dated April 2 [18]92. Attached is a handwritten postcard (worn), to an unidentified writer, mentioning a book by Bergerat. Provenance: Émile Rochard (1850-1918), playwright and novelist (signed autograph letter from the author). Corners worn, edges rubbed, upper hinge cracked, page edges browned.
