POLISH LITERATURE, 19th century. LUBICZ-ZALESKI (Zygmunt, 1882-1967, Polish writer and diplomat). Autograph manuscript, signed, entitled: "Un grand courant de la poésie polonaise au XIXe siècle". Ink on paper, on the front of 41 narrow in-8 leaves (approx. 33 x 10.5 cm.). Text of an article or lecture, cleaned up, with a few rare erasures. Zaleski distinguished himself in the world of letters by his active participation in the recognition of Polish literature. He settled in Paris in 1914, where he held the first chair of Polish language teaching in France. Later, he played an active role in the French Resistance and promoted Franco-Polish cultural relations. Trace of fold in 2, tear without missing last page, traces of dust on v° of qq. ff.
