Թոռնեան (Թադէոս) [TORNIAN (Thaddeus)]. Հատընտիր ընթերցվածք ի մատենագրությանց նախնյաց [Selected readings from the writings of our ancestors in 2 vols.]. Vienna, l'imprimerie Méchitaride, 1891-1910. 2 vol. in-8, 22-461-[1] p. + 31-[1]-575-[1] p., period fawn half-chagrin, 5-rib spine, gilt title, tomaison and fleuron, gilt date and initials on tail, cover preserved (rubbing to nerves, spines, corners and edges, leaves very slightly browned). Second edition of the work by Tadeos Tornian (1843-1928), philologist, theologian and member of the Mekhitarist Order of Vienna. The author presents a carefully selected collection of passages from the Grabar bibliography. He then compares these extracts with the original texts and makes corrections to rectify numerous distortions, thus contributing to a better understanding and preservation of the ancient texts.
