"The School of Knowledge" is a kind of encyclopedia written by Pejeshkian Minas (1777-1851), Armenian philologist, educator, historian, ethnographer and musicologist, member of the Mekhitarist Order of Venice. The work is written in quatrains, with the exception of the footnotes, which makes it particularly interesting. The edition is illustrated with five copper-engraved plates, four of which are fold-outs, depicting scientific and natural history subjects.
