In-12 [6]-434 p., romantically bound in full calf, smooth spine, gilt title, gilt fillet and iron, cold cathedral plate on boards framed in gilt fillet, gilt stippled edges, gilt roulette on chasses, gilt edges (spine faded, slight rubbing to headpieces, edges, corners and boards). Multilingual edition of the prayer "I confess with faith", composed in 1157 by Nerses IV Klayetsi (known as Shnorhali), Catholicos of the Armenian Church (1102-1173). This 24-verse liturgical text is presented here in 24 languages, including Grabar (classical Armenian), Ancient Greek, Latin, French, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic, Persian, Chinese and Hebrew. The work is decorated with a frontispiece portrait of Nerses IV Klayetsi engraved by Viviani after Busato.
