Armenian translation of Nicolas Marr's work on the Baptism of the peoples of the Caucasus (Armenians, Georgians, Abkhazians and Alans), after the original in Russian by Archbishop Housik, member of the congregation of Saint-Etchmiadzine. Through historical and philological analysis, Marr examines ancient sources, liturgical traditions and hagiographic accounts to highlight the founding role of Saint Gregory in the spread of Christianity in the region.
