Գիրք Աստուածաշունչք Հին եւ Նոր կտակարանաց [Book of Saints Old and New Testament Bible]. Venice, Imprimerie Sainte-Lazare, 1860. In-4, [6]-1223-[1] p., 2 pl., burgundy half-maroquin with corners, spine 5 nerfs, caissons decorated with gilt Greek initials, gilt title, place and date (coupes and corners a little rubbed, slight scattered russ.). In 1662, Uscan, Bishop of Uschovank, was commissioned to publish a complete edition of the Bible. This work was then taken up and continued by the Mekhitarists, a religious congregation based in Venice on the island of Saint Lazarus since 1717, who constantly revised and enriched the translation. The present copy is probably a reprint of a new critical edition of the complete Bible, published in Venice in 1859 in an in-4 volume. The work is illustrated with an ornate faux-title and two plates, one of which is engraved by Johannes de Mare after Jusepe de Ribera.
