Sirach, also known as Ecclesiasticus or The Book of Ben Sira the Wise, is one of the sapiential books of the Old Testament, written around 200 BC. Its title derives from its author, Yeshua Ben Sira (or Ben Sirach). In Greek, it is entitled Wisdom of Sirakh (Sophia Sirakh).
