Explanatory manual of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, written according to the liturgical rules of the Armenian Apostolic Church. It describes the stages, prayers, gestures and symbolism of the Holy Mass, enabling clergy and faithful alike to better understand and follow the Eucharistic celebration. It features an engraved title page and a full-page woodcut illustration. The text is laid out in two columns, and decorated with lettering and illustrations in the margins. Virtually all the decorative elements, including the engraved title, full-page illustration and lettering, have been hand-colored.
