[2] f., contemporary fawn half-basin, smooth spine decorated with gilt fleuron, roulette and multiple fillets, havana title page, marbled edges (epidermures, corners and elbows rubbed). Textbook of classical Armenian (grabar) written by Vrtanes Chalikhiants, a member of the Mekhitarist Abbey. The author is also known for several works on Armenian grammar, intended for the teaching and transmission of this liturgical language. Given by Mekhitarist brothers to an anonymous person (handwritten note in French on verso of title page).
