Աւգերեան (Յարութիւն) AUCHER (Pascal). Բառարան Անգղիարէն եւ Հայերէն համառօտագրութեամբ տպագրեցաւ ջանիւք և աշխատասիրութեամբ պարոն Յովհաննու Ավդալեանց, Dictionary, English and Armenian Abridged by Johannes Avdall. Calcutta, The Philantrophic Academy's press, 1825. In-8, XXIX-289-[3]p., brown half-basin with corners, smooth spine decorated with a gilt fleuron and double fillet, speckled edges (snag on lower board, corners, spine and headband slightly rubbed, russ. on last 2 leaves). Abridged version of the English-Armenian dictionary by Johannes Advall, based on the 1821 edition by Pascal Aucher (1774-1854), Armenian linguist, lexicographer and translator. The second volume, published later the same year, was produced with contributions from both authors.
