In-4, 570 + 684 p., contemporary fawn half-basin, smooth spine, red title-piece, gilt stamping, gilt fillet and iron, speckled edges (boards and headpieces rubbed, upper bit of t.2 split and spine partly detached, corners dull, light foxing). Abridged French-Armenian dictionary by Pascal Aucher (1774-1854), Armenian linguist, lexicographer and translator, member of the Mekhitarist Order of Venice. The author of many major works, he is particularly renowned for his contributions to English-Armenian, French-Armenian and Italian-Armenian dictionaries.
