In-4, XV-592 p., contemporary havana half-basin, spine with 4 nerves, gilt title, speckled edges, cover preserved (headpieces worn, corners dull, spines and nerves a little rubbed, light foxing, split without missing on some plates).
This work by Léonce Alishan (1820-1901), is dedicated to the geography, history and culture of the Sissouan region, in the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
It is richly illustrated with a frontispiece and over 230 figures, including 18 plates, 3 folding maps and facsimiles.
