Ալիշան (Ղեւոնդ) [ALISHAN (Léonce)]. In-4 XVI-[2]-801; 105 p., contemporary speckled fawn basane, ornate smooth spine, green title-piece, gilt roulette framing the boards, gilt edges (epidermures, dull corners, rubbed elbows, slight foxing, tear without missing on the map of South America, repaired on verso with scotch tape). Two works of geography in one volume by Léonce Alishan (1820-1901), the second dedicated to Armenia. The illustration consists of 13 folding plates (12 copper-engraved maps in Paris, plus a table). The maps include a double-hemisphere world map and the continents (Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and Oceania). The work entitled Description géographique de la Grande Arménie contains a detailed map of Armenia. Unidentified signature on title page.
