IBRAHIM AL-THAʿLABI (D. 1035): THIRD VOLUME OF THE KASHF WA-L-BAYAN ʻAN TAFSIRI AL-QURʼAN Probably Mamluk Egypt or Syria, copied on Thursday, Safar 5, 748 H/1347 Arabic manuscript on unwatermarked oriental paper, 153 leaves, text in black unvocalized naskh of 25 lines, numbering of quires partially preserved in upper left corner, advertisements, numerous marginal comments, collation marks, dated colophon, numerous possession marks on the endpapers added in watermarked paper at the beginning of the manuscript, one of which is dated 1184 H/1770, in a rather average state of preservation, quires detached from the spine, numerous wormholes, in a later Ottoman binding, old descriptive label glued to the flyleaf and old label glued to the upper cover "Koran / 24 / C 408".
