[Armenia]. [GLINKA (Serguei Nikolaevich)]; NEUMANN (Carl Friedrich), trans. Geschichte der Uebersiedlung von vierzig tausend Armeniern, welche im Jahre 1828 aus der persischen Provinz Aderbaidschan nach Russland auswanderten... Leipzig, Weidmann, 1834. In-8, [1] f. (title), 108 p., [1] f. (expl. of the engraving), 1 plate, contemporary marbled boards, title ms. on label on spine, other label on tail (headbands and corners rubbed, ink stain in margin p.17, some browning). Very rare work adapted from the original Russian and Armenian texts. It is illustrated with a large gummed and colored folding engraving. Worlcat only has digital copies of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek copy, which does not appear to contain the plate's explanatory leaf - at least not in digital form - and which is covered with a cardboard similar to the one we offer. Provenance: "A Monsieur le Baron de Sacy" (old handwritten note on one endpaper).
