The work comprises 31 pages of text and 13 plates of illustrations, offering a detailed analysis of portraits and images of the Russian emperor. Art historians and researchers in Russian iconography regard this work as a valuable reference. This copy is enhanced by two photographs of portraits of Peter the Great, one of which bears a handwritten note on the verso: Портрет Имп.
