[Russia]. Почтовая Карта Европейской Части Россійской Имперіи И Казказского Края [Postcard of the European part of the Russian Empire and the Caucasus region]. St. Petersburg, Post Office Department, 1852. 1 folding map cut into 36 sheets and mounted on period canvas, in color, approx. 162x160 cm. ((tiny cracks at folds, edges of some sheets a little creased). Map based on data from the Post Office Department, by Captain Ttioutikov of the Printers' Corps, and engraved by officers of the Military Topographical Department. Corrected to January 1, 1858. This indicates that the map was produced according to official sources, by military and technical specialists of the Russian Empire, thus ensuring its accuracy.
