[Normandie]. ROGIERS (Salomon), engraving. Description du Pais de Caux. [Paris], Jean Le Clerc excudit, [1st half of 17th c.]. One copper-engraved map, approx. 33 x 44 cm, colored (small worm tracts skillfully filled in margins).
A highly decorative map of this region of Upper Normandy, from Le Havre to Vernon and the beginning of the Vexin, bounded by the course of the Seine to the south and covering as far north as Le Tréport. Two ships and a sea monster decorate the Channel; the scale and address appear lower left in an ornamental cartouche.
