French work of the Napoleon III period 750‰ yellow gold opening rigid rush bracelet engraved and chased with volutes and adorned with a large rectangular cut-to-size amethyst surrounded by four white button pearls, the body gadrooned. Diamond workshop hallmark. Weight of the amethyst: approx. 25-30 carats. Wrist size: 16.5cm. Width: 3cm. Gross weight: 34.1 g. (Some knocks and dents, fine chipping) Presented in a red morocco case signed "R. LEGRAND / 2 rue du Bouloi / Paris".
