HERMES, Atelier Georges LENFANT, Years 1960-1970 Ribbon bracelet in yellow gold 750‰ with articulated and textured "paillette"-style double twisted links. Slide clasp and safety hook. Posterior safety chain. Signed "HERMES PARIS" and numbered "84353". French work, diamond-shaped hallmark of Atelier Georges LENFANT. Wrist circumference: 17cm. Mesh width: 0.8cm. P. : 62,5 g. (Minor bumps and dents, small accidents to the mesh). Maille "Paillette", developed by Jacques LENFANT for Atelier Georges LENFANT, is emblematic of the work of this great chain-maker. Worked on round, oval, twisted or rectangular links, it was used in numerous variations and combinations, and produced for many Place Vendôme houses, including Cartier, Fred, Mauboussin, Van Cleef & Arpels and Hermès.
